| Organization Profile | |
Pak Kau Group of Schools was founded by Professor Tam Man Kwan in the 60s. During the past 30 years, the organization has been struggling for funding to improve the teaching and learning environment in order to provide quality education for students. Although Hong Kong may not be an ideal place to develop private education due to many restrictions from the government, the organization has achieved a great success in students' satisfactory public examination results and excellent performance in social service. |

At present, the organization consists of five secondary schools: two direct subsidized scheme schools, one government aided school and two continuing education colleges. All these schools and colleges are managed by three charitable institutions: Pak Kau Educational Organization Ltd., QualiEd Educational Organization Ltd. and Eduyoung Educational Organization Ltd. |

The above-mentioned institutions
are keen on contributing to the development of Hong Kong education in
three aspects: |

| The focus of the organization is local secondary education. In order to provide quality education to students, we successfully applied for accreditation by the international well-known organization - "The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)". Starting from 2003, two of our schools have been accredited and recognized as 'Model Schools' by CITA. This will facilitate our students in their application for admission into overseas universities, especially in the USA. | |
| Currently, the next target of the Organization is to establish articulation for our students upon completion of their secondary education. We have signed partnership agreements with tertiary institutes in mainland China and overseas, for instance, Seattle Community College in Seattle, Washington and Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology in Beijing, China. Both of them have agreed to offer scholarships to our students. | ![]() |
| We are planning to offer tertiary programmes in collaboration with the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology in Hong Kong in October 2004. We are also looking for partners to start up language courses, pre-university courses and bachelor courses in Hong Kong. | |
